With over 25 years of workers’ compensation experience in New Jersey, a decade of which was spent as in-house counsel for two major U.S. insurance carriers, Chris has an expansive and unique perspective on the handling of workers’ compensation claims. Chris’s clientele is broad, ranging from companies in industries such as retail, transportation logistics, distribution, municipalities, and more, reflecting the breadth of Chris’s experience and knowledge base. Despite such a varied clientele, Chris prides himself on his individualized and tailored approach to claims handling, in which he attempts to understand the business of his client in order to provide the best possible representation. Chris is a active litigator, having tried cases in nearly every jurisdiction in the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation system. He also is an accomplished appellate attorney, including the published opinion of Pauline Feltman v. Transistor Devices, Inc., 355 N.J. Super. 36 (App. Div. 2002).
In addition to his daily practice, Chris is an active member of the American Bar Association and the National Puerto Rican Bar Association. He has presented on the art of negotiation and dispute resolution at Shippensburg University. Further, he has volunteered to judge at collegiate debate tournaments, including for the Brownson Speech and Debate Team at Seton Hall University.
