Dan is Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated.  He is a highly credentialed workers’ compensation Partner, with more than 35 years of experience.  His practice oftentimes focuses on complex issues, such as fraudulent claims, coverage disputes, drug-free workplace cases, and compensability determinations.  Dan has a long track record of success at trial, including favorable outcomes on fraud, medical issues, indemnity issues, and more.  Additionally, Dan’s thorough investigation and strategic approach to claims handling has led to many claims settling significantly below their respective exposure levels.

Aside from his daily practice, Dan enjoys educating businesses and trade organizations regarding important workers’ compensation topics, such as preexisting and idiopathic conditions, drug-free workplace, employer safety programs, and skillful navigation of the complex workers' compensation law.  His experience and knowledge of workers’ compensation law led Dan to becoming Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation Law in 1994.

Dan graduated from Central Michigan University with his Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in journalism (with Honors), and then from Stetson University College of Law with his Juris Doctorate degree (also with Honors), where he was a member of the Stetson Law Review.
