Retired Judge Orlando has a wealth of experience from his 20 years as a judge in the Camden Vicinage, one of New Jersey Superior Court’s largest and most active sub-divisions.  He has presided over and managed hundreds of complex matters involving products liability, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, land use and zoning, eminent domain, governmental disputes, employment, and election law cases.

Earlier in his career, Judge Orlando was in private practice where he focused on civil litigation and the representation of governmental agencies.  He was appointed to the bench in 1991 and was the Presiding Judge of the Civil Division in Camden before stepping into the role of Assignment Judge, a role he held for 16 years.

In addition to serving four years as the Mayer of the Borough of Haddon Heights, New Jersey, Judge Orlando has served on numerous judicial councils and committees.  He was Chair of the Judicial Council Labor Relations Committee, and a member of the Supreme Court Committee on Civil Practice, the Public Access Committee, the Outside Activities Committee, and the Albin Committee.
