Jess is a Partner with nearly 20 years of experience defending employers, self-insureds, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators (TPAs) in workers’ compensation matters.  Licensed to practice in both New York and Florida, Jess manages all aspects of litigation on her claims, including discovery, mediations, trials, and appeals.  Her clientele ranges across the industry spectrum, and includes municipalities, government entities, construction companies, retailers, manufacturers, transportation companies, and healthcare providers.

Some of Jess’ most notable wins include implementation of mandatory and discretionary penalties following WCL Section 114-a fraud findings, disallowances based on a lack of employer-employee relationship resulting in dismissal, and the successful defense of occupational disease and repetitive trauma claims for public entity clients.
