Marydenyse has focused her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims for more than 20 years, which includes handling complex issues such as claims giving rise to a misrepresentation defense (commonly referred to as the fraud defense) and appellate claims.  Over the years she has represented a wide array of employers and insurers, including self-insured employers, and has defended claims in a wide array of industries that includes trucking companies, long-term care facilities, construction companies, national retailers, and airlines, among others. She has also represented varies south Florida school boards, and law enforcement agencies and departments.  By focusing on early and in-depth investigation, weaknesses of the Claimant’s position can be discovered, often leading to claims that are settled for below expected settlement value.
