Susan is a Partner who focuses her practice on the defense of employers, self-insureds, and insurance companies in workers’ compensation claims. She has handled claims involving workers’ compensation and personal injury, in both New York and in Vermont.
Initially representing injured workers and now defending workers’ compensation claims, Susan has a unique insight into both sides of the workers’ compensation system. This allows her to more thoroughly evaluate a claim and come up with claim-specific strategies to mitigate exposure and limit the lifespan of a claim.
Susan has deposed and elicited trial testimony from hundreds of expert and lay witnesses. She has drafted and filed numerous appeals and rebuttals to the Board Panel, Full Board, and Third Department.
